@ Join us for a cocktail tasting featuring Carabuena Tequila and a tour of the Cactus and Succulent Collection! Enjoy cocktails made from plants that can be found right here in the Garden while learning more about the distillation process. Carabuena Tequila will be featuring their 100% blue weber agave tequila varieties with a live mixology demonstration as they talk about about their tequila’s history that links Jalisco and Austin. Your ticket includes hand-crafted cocktails and a guided tour of the Garden’s Cactus and Succulent Collection from Conservancy Curator Jeff Pavlat. Register Here! About Carabuena Tequila Victor Diaz was born and raised in Jalisco, Mexico, where he grew up immersed in a rich tapestry of family, tradition, and the mesmerizing agave fields. His deep-rooted connections in the heart of Mexico serve as the foundation upon which he has built the artisanal tequila brand, Carabuena. After moving to Austin, Texas in 2012, he crafted the Carabuena brand, forged a partnership with a trusted distiller, and meticulously refined his vision. Today, Victor still proudly calls Austin home, from where he continues to celebrate his Mexican heritage, and share the spirit of Carabuena Tequila with the world. Know Before You Go Time & Location: Meet us at 6 PM in the Oak Grove, past the parking lot and back behind the Children’s Garden. Important Note: This event takes place in both the Oak Grove and Collection Greenhouse, both of which are about a 10-minute walk from the Garden Center Building, located at the back of the Garden’s horticultural area.
