Uncover the wonders beneath the Texas landscape during a social evening of science, art, and paleontology. Join Dr. Thomas Adams, Head Curator and Paleontologist, for a guided gallery experience through hundreds, thousands, and millions of years of Texas Deep Time. Explore the stories behind the search for the Battle of Medina, Bexar County mosasaurs, dinosaur fossils from Big Bend National Park, and other remarkable Witte discoveries. Then, turn inspiration into art during a hands-on watercolor session with featured artist Alicia McAllen, where you’ll create an original piece inspired by Texas fossils. Your ticket includes guided gallery access, light bites and drinks, and all materials needed to complete your watercolor painting. Space is limited. Advance tickets are strongly recommended.
