Date: Wednesday, August 26 Time: 6:00 PM Location: Emporia Granada Theatre Coach Slay – Beyond The Scoreboard is a feature-length documentary that tells the story of Coach Slaymaker from many different perspectives. The movie looks back at legendary games that became part of Emporia’s history, while also exploring the life lessons, values, and wisdom he gained throughout an extraordinary lifetime. Whether you know Coach Slay as a coach, teacher, mentor, friend, or simply as someone who has touched your life, this evening is for you. This will be the one and only public screening of the movie, so don’t miss the opportunity to experience it on the big screen. As this is a non-commercial project created to honor Coach Slaymaker, admission is completely free. With seating for up to 800 guests, we hope everyone can join us. In the event that the theatre reaches capacity, seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. We would love to see everyone who knows Coach Slay join us for this unforgettable evening. *The documentary will be available online at a later date for those that aren’t able to attend the premiere. The premiere at the Granada Theatre will be the one and only opportunity to experience it together with Coach Slay and the people featured.
