Loving Cup that was gifted to William Seward Webb, father-in-law of Museum founder Electa Havemeyer Webb, upon his retirement from Wagner Palace Car Company in 1899. Part of the exhibition Varied & Alive: New and Rarely Seen Treasures from the Collection, this extraordinary 25-pint, three-handled silver cup was custom made by the 4,000 employees of the company that he owned. With Kory Rogers, Francie and John Downing Senior Curator of American Art. Free for Members or with Museum admission. Limited to first 15 participants. Limited to 20 participants.
