Climb at TRC Raleigh, (Optional: Dinner after, location TBD)

Are you ready to try something new? Or are you an experienced climber in need of a belay partner? For over 20 years now we've been welcoming both curious newbies and seasoned climbers to our Meetup, and we'd love to have you join us! :-) No prior climbing experience or special gear is required! Your first Meetup visit to any TRC location is $15, rental harness and rental shoes included. Come find us first and we may be able to save you the cost of your first visit. Returning visitors get the usual meetup rate of $22 with rental gear if you ask. Wear clothes that don't restrict movement and a pair of your thinnest socks. Feel free to post a comment or message the organizer to ask any questions or let us know you are a new climber or have some experience but are not belay-certified. When you arrive, please check in with the desk, let them know you are there for the meetup, and they will help you with any forms, orientation video and rental gear. Blue name tags will be at the desk if the organizer has arrived. Then head to the roped area with the windows at the front of the gym and look for us. Look for climbers with blue name tags. We'll leave for dinner (optional) typically about 8:45pm - venue to be chosen by the organizer and those who wish to join. Feel free to make a suggestion that can handle a large group, and has multiple vegetarian options. Usual options include Jose & Sons, La Cucina Italiana.
