# CLASS IN THE GRASS ### **A Joint Casting Workshop & Skills Challenge** **Hosted by Triangle Fly Fishers & Carolina Fly Fishing Club** Join us for a day of instruction, practice, and community as we refine our casting techniques in the beautiful surroundings of Bond Park. *** ### **📅 EVENT DETAILS** * **DATE:** Saturday, August 29th * **TIME:** 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM * **LOCATION:** Bond Metro Park, Multi-use Field * **PARKING:** Best parking is located by the **Community Center** * **WHO:** TFF Members ages 10+ (Minors must be accompanied by an adult) *** ### **🏆 FFI SKILLS CHALLENGE** Toward the end of the session, we will offer the **FFI Flycasting Skills Challenge**. Whether you are aiming for **Bronze, Silver, or Gold**, we have the official forms ready for you to track your progress and test your accuracy and distance. *** ### **📝 REGISTRATION & REQUIREMENTS** **Space is strictly limited to 15 club members. Sign-ups are required!** * **SAFETY:** Eye protection (glasses) is **required** for all participants. * **GEAR:** Practice leaders will be provided. * **COMFORT:** We recommend bringing a folding chair for rest periods. * **REFRESHMENTS:** Water and snacks will be provided to keep you fueled.
