6:00 PM – 9:00PM CDT on Wed. Class activities include art anatomy presentations with discussion, active learning through quick sketch drawing from live models, muscle and skeletal models. Structures covered include bones, bony landmarks, muscle compartments and individual muscles. Layman’s terms will augment or replace scientific terminology whenever possible. Class goals are for the student to learn bones and muscle structures that contribute to surface shapes for the purpose of accurately drawing the human form. Each 6-week class will focus on one section of the body including: 1) Lower Extremity, 2) Upper extremity, 3) Thorax, and 4) Head & Neck This session will focus on the shoulder, arm and hand. Special Notes The class will meet in our coach house studio (rear building). Required Supplies 9” x 12” sketchbook Drawing instruments: Pencils: (HB, B, 2B) or preferred drawing medium Kneaded eraser
