City Walk The Hunt For Blue April ~6.2 miles

Today's walk will take us to **Willow Water Hole**, a large, **flood control structure** and walking area. Beginning at the church, we will see the mouldering remains of **Westbury Square**, the newest, **coolest thing in 1974**. Time has not been kind to Westbury Square. Next, a short neighborhood walk and then the lakes and greenspaces of the Willow Water Hole structures which are intended to keep the flood waters at bay. That is one to watch for. Willow Water Hole is also a good place to catch that seasonal elusive Bluebonnet! Now it will be at the end of the peak bloom season but hopefully we will see some nice patches. So come on out for a nice late spring walk and hunt for that bluebonnet field. Wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water. The heat in Texas is always a concern so **let someone know if you are having a hard time**.
