Citizens' Climate Climbing Meetup!

Come join us at Movement Lincoln Park for some climbing and connection! All climbing levels welcome. Before you climb: 1. Be sure to fill out the waiver if this is your first time at a Movement gym! You can do this ahead of time at https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/w/bptepp6kug6sphxuoprgco/web/, or at the tablets when you arrive at the gym. 1. You will need to pay for entry to the gym for the day, whether that is through a day pass ($28) or your existing membership. 1. Bring or rent climbing gear. If you are bouldering, you will want climbing shoes and a chalk bag. If you want to rope climb, you will need both of those thing's plus a harness. I am top rope/ lead belay certified, so if you are interested in rope climbing, I can belay you! There will be others as well who can belay. You can rent this gear at the front desk when you arrive, I believe there is an additional charge to rent gear. Climbing: 1. Come find us on the second floor, just in front of the stairs. There is a cubby area in front of the bouldering. I will be there with a Citizens' Climate pin on my shirt to welcome you and point you toward our group! 1. We will do a mix of bouldering and rope climbing during the meetup.
