Citadel Hearthlight - Weekly Practice

Join Citadel--a Hearthlight chapter--in the Derby/Shelton/Ansonia area. Get off the couch, get outside, and vanquish your friends in this full-contact adult medieval combat sport featuring foam weaponry. The rules are simple and it's absolutely free - Just bring plenty of water and be there with a fighting spirit! Hearthlight is an approachable boffer combat sport and LARP focused on recreating pre-gunpowder combat environments with many participants, featuring tactical group-based play and action from every angle. Our weekly practices are free and require nothing but what you might wear to the gym, and are a great way to get in shape--and we have gear available to lend to newcomers at no cost. Our community also features a thriving crafting scene, with makers showcasing their talents in medieval-era crafts.
