Choosing the Right Computer

Ages 18+. Shopping for a new computer can be confusing when every model advertises different processors, memory, storage, graphics, and features. This class breaks down the specifications that matter most and explains how they affect everyday tasks like web browsing, office work, photo editing, streaming, and gaming. We’ll compare desktops and laptops, discuss Windows PCs and Macs, look at how much memory and storage different users may actually need, and explain when paying more for a faster processor or dedicated graphics makes sense. You’ll leave better prepared to compare models, avoid paying for features you do not need, and choose a computer that fits both your needs and budget.
