About this event

Join local chocolate maker Angi from ChocolateSpiel for an introduction to the art of chocolate truffle making. Discover how hand rolled chocolate truffles are made, exploring two essential chocolate techniques: creating silky smooth ganache and tempering chocolate for a glossy finish and perfect snap. Participants will roll and finish their own truffles to take home, while also learning more about the chocolate-making process and what makes fine chocolate unique. No prior experience necessary. All materials provided. Sponsored by the Friends of the Fairwood Library. Registration not required. Free tickets will be available at the door 30 minutes before program start. First come, first seated. Reasonable accommodation for people with disabilities is available by request. Email access@kcls.org at least seven days before the event. Automated closed captioning is always available for online events.
