Join us for a Chinese Mahjong Meetup! During this program, participants will: Learn about the origins and history of Mahjong in China Explore how the game spread throughout Asia and around the world Discuss Mahjong's role in family, community, and cultural traditions within the Asian diaspora Receive hands-on instruction in the rules and gameplay of Chinese-style Mahjong Practice basic strategies and enjoy friendly games with fellow participants Whether you are completely new to Mahjong or interested in learning more about its cultural roots, this program offers an engaging opportunity to explore a beloved tradition while meeting new people. No prior experience necessary! Mahjong sets will be provided.
