Children’s Theater Auditions

Auditions: Missoula Children’s Theatre Residency – Aladdin July 6, 2026 | 10:00 AM | The Matthews Opera House & Arts Center Auditions for Missoula Children’s Theatre’s residency production of Aladdin are open to students entering 1st through 12th grade (Fall 2026). No experience or advance preparation is needed—just enthusiasm and a willingness to participate! Students will take part in a group audition led by professional touring directors, featuring simple movement, storytelling, and ensemble activities designed to help identify roles that best fit each performer. Casting will be announced shortly after auditions, with rehearsals beginning the same day. Selected students will spend the week rehearsing and preparing for a full-stage musical performance. This is a unique opportunity to build confidence, make new friends, and be part of a fast-paced theatrical experience from audition to final curtain in just one week.
