Cheap Eats - Zenith Brunch

I've been a little lax about posting, but I'm back! To force myself to get some exercise and be a productive human after the pool party, I'm scheduling brunch. The next in this series is brunch at the Zenith. Off the beaten path in Southside is a quirky thrift shop/vegan restaurant. It's weird. It's cheap. It's satisfying for even meat eaters. $12++ gets you an entree from the menu plus a buffet of cold salads and veggies, and coffee or tea. There are even cakes on the buffet for dessert. I usually bring $16 cash (cash only - exact change preferred). It's also BYOB (BYO opener too). If you prefer mimosas, bring champagne and a few bucks to buy the juice. SUPER IMPORTANT to be on time for this one. We line up outside and wait for them to open. They won't seat us unless everyone is there. 48 hour RSVP applies. Overview: This series of events will be focused on more budget friendly foodie options. I'm searching out places where quality, creativity, and value go hand in hand. Think foodie finds at food truck prices, big portions that lend to lunch leftovers, BYOB faves, or kick ass happy hour specials that make fancy places a little less wallet busting. You can certainly eat, drink, and spend whatever you want, but the idea is to make it fun to seek out deals and spend a little less.
