Chantil Dukart and The Dukes of Art – Live Music

If you were at either of the Liver Down the River shows during Memorial Day weekend, you probably noticed how great the keyboard player on stage was. That was Chantil Dukart and she’s bringing her own trio to play a show for us. Chantil Dukart is an award-winning contemporary pianist and vocalist with roots in the Tsimshian and Sugpiaq tribes of Alaska. Chantil Dukart has performed jazz and blues all over the country including at the Kennedy Center and the Smithsonian in DC. Her new album “Chantil and the Dukes of Art” features soulful songwriting that combines jazz, reggae, New Orleans, gospel and blues styles.
