Skagit Valley Chorale Celebrating In Song Saturday, May 9 7:30pm Sunday, May 10 2:00pm Join the Chorale for a “Skagit Spectacular Semiquincentennial Celebration in Song” – a.k.a. “Happy 250th Birthday, U.S.A.!” – with special guests, the Northwest Concert Band and their director, Peter Ormsby. Over one hundred singers and a band of 50 players will fill the McIntyre stage and raise the rafters of the Hall with a celebration including favorite American tunes like “The Stars and Stripes Forever” and “America the Beautiful,” as the combined richness honors thoughtful, joyful music by cherished American composers.
