Cedars Hyperlocal Conversation

About this event

**Topic: History of The Cedars** Join our next hyperlocal conversation at **Full City Rooster** in the **Cedars** to meet your neighbors and explore ways to improve walkability along **Botham Jean Blvd, South Akard St, Browder St, and around Old City Park**. **Please RSVP so we know to expect you. We’d love to have you there!** For this conversation, we’re going back to the neighborhood’s history. **Sarah Crain from Preservation Dallas** will join us to explore how **land use, housing, and transportation** have evolved in The Cedars and shaped its walkability. What was The Cedars like during its most walkable periods? What made it possible for people to live, work, shop, and get around on foot? And what can that history teach us about improving walkability today? Come learn about The Cedars’ past and discuss what lessons from the neighborhood’s history could help shape its future.
