About this event
This event is intended for teens as well as an adult audience. Please bring your own yoga mat, towel, blanket, or contact the point person below to request a loaner mat. Take a cue from a cat: slow down, find the best sun patch in the room, and give yourself permission to rest. This class invites you to stretch lazily, soften into supported poses, and let go of the day’s busyness. Through gentle movement, long holds, and plenty of stillness, we’ll melt tension from the body and quiet the mind, finishing with a deeply restful cat nap in Savasana. All levels are welcome. Come ready to soak in the pawsitive vibes and renew your 9 lives! About the Presenter: A 500-hour certified yoga teacher with a deep love of cats herself, Kayla has been teaching for 6 years and loves guiding slower, gentler flows that give people a chance to relax, breathe deeply, and simply enjoy themselves with no menacing to-do list. Teaching all levels, she believes yoga should be welcoming, fun, and a great way to connect with others. Her classes build community as much as they build calm. When she’s not on the mat, she’s usually at home with her beloved cat, Sylvie, her longtime teacher in the art of unapologetic zoomies and the well-timed nap. Questions?
