Meeting Room. November is national caregiver month! Please join us for this presentation of Caring for the Caregiver featuring Matt Santelli, Education and Outreach Specialist at the Pierce County Aging and Disability Resource Center. This presentation will review the challenges facing unpaid caregivers who do the work of caring for friends and family members living at home. The many tasks required of these caregivers will be reviewed, along with helpful tips to improve care at home. Supportive services for these caregivers will also be discussed, including respite care, caregiver counseling and support groups, and assistive devices to make home settings safer and more efficient.
