Join Joyce Mandel for this virtual three-part Career Ready Workshop. Learn everything you need to be successful in your next job search from finding the right job, crafting an effective resume and cover letter, and nailing the interview. Register below for the second workshop in this series on interview skills on Thursday, November 19 at 2 pm on Zoom. In this interactive role-playing workshop, you will learn how to prepare for an interview, and also a telephone interview. You will be asked the 15 most important interview questions, and how to answer them. Free and open to teens and adults. Please register below to receive the Zoom link. About the Facilitator Joyce Mandel holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University and a master’s degree in diagnostic teaching. She began her career as a special education teacher in Miami, Florida, where she taught for ten years before pursuing a new professional path. Joyce transitioned into human resources with Toys “R” Us, where she was responsible for hiring and training employees at two stores. During her time there, she also provided extensive training in customer service skills. She later worked as an employment specialist for fifteen years, helping both youth and adults find jobs and develop essential employability skills. Following that role, Joyce launched her own business, where she presents workshops focused on employability skills and life skills. Joyce is passionate about helping others and believes that making a positive difference in people’s lives is what her work is all about. She currently lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with her husband, Michael.
