About this event
What does rest mean to you right now? And in a world of constant noise, how might we begin to see rest as a necessity, rather than a luxury? Join Nechumah Getz of Better Outside Together to slow down, take a breath, and explore these questions together. This beginner-friendly Rock Creek Park hike blends movement, guided conversation, and meditation to explore what nature and Jewish wisdom can teach us about finding rest in our lives. Nechumah founded Better Outside Together to help people build deeper connections through time outdoors. No hiking experience needed, just curiosity and comfortable shoes. This program is open to people of all genders and gender identities. Please note that registration will close on Wednesday, October 21, at 12:00 PM. If you have any questions or if the cost of this program poses a barrier, please reach out to Capital J Director Sarah Bernstein at sbernstein@edcjcc.org.
