Canyon Ranch Austin Presents: Texas Mahjong Showdown

Canyon Ranch Austin invites mahjong players from across Texas to the inaugural Texas Mahjong Showdown, taking place November 12–15, 2026, at the brand-new Canyon Ranch Austin in Spicewood. Hosted by The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum and avid mahjong player Crystal Kung Minkoff, the three-night event will bring together 16 teams of four for a weekend of friendly competition, connection and wellness. Teams representing Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio will compete in pool play on Friday before advancing to bracketed play on Saturday, culminating in the crowning of the Texas Mahjong Showdown champions. Teams will also compete for Best Team Spirit. Between games, participants can experience everything Canyon Ranch Austin has to offer, including 35+ daily wellness classes and experiences, spa and recovery, fitness and movement, nourishing chef-driven cuisine, and programming focused on longevity, sleep, mindfulness and more.
