The performance begins at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. This candlelit program creates an immersive musical experience performed entirely in the round. Audience members sit close to Music Director Mélisse Brunet as she conducts the 12-piece NEPA Philharmonic Brass Ensemble. Meanwhile, the Marywood Chamber Singers perform from the rotunda’s circular balcony above. The courthouse rotunda becomes part of the experience as music resonates throughout the circular space. The intimate performance runs approximately 45 minutes without an intermission. Two additional performances take place at the Marywood University Rotunda in Scranton on Wednesday, October 28, at 6 and 7:30 p.m. (CANDLE)LIT Brass 360° in Wilkes-Barre surrounds audiences with live brass and choral music inside the Luzerne County Courthouse Rotunda.
