Can Kindness Change Our Lives & The World?

It's easy to feel overwhelmed by the size of the world's problems. But maybe that very feeling — the sense that the problems are too big for us to touch — is exactly what keeps us from noticing things we can do that are always within our reach, such as practicing kindness. What if a single kind word, a small act of care, ripples further than we ever realize? What if real change doesn't come from somewhere else, but from us, choosing kindness right where we are? Join us as we explore how kindness can transform not just our own lives, but the world around us. We may explore questions such as: What would it look like to lead with kindness in our own relationships, our own neighborhoods, our own daily lives — and then let that circle widen? How might we invite others into that same practice, so kindness multiplies far beyond what any one of us could offer alone? Our group meets monthly to make new friends in Wilson County and discuss topics that matter. Our goal is to create a space where people of all backgrounds and perspectives can come together to explore the deeper spiritual truths that we all have in common. When we can share various perspectives in a welcoming and respectful environment, we learn from each other and build a stronger community. Each month we explore a new topic, using short sections of the Bahá'í teachings and other faiths as a starting point for discussion. All are welcome regardless of background or belief, and different perspectives add to the richness of the discussion. Join us to meet new friends and learn together! There are no group membership dues or fees and donations will not be accepted. Please note: attendees under the age of 18 must have a guardian with them.
