AGES: 8-17 SKILL LEVEL: BEGINNER , SOME EXPERIENCE - ADVANCED WEEKLY SCHEDULE Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm each day Each day consists of rehearsals, practice time and fun music-based games and activities. On Friday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week! WHAT TO EXPECT Team building exercises, games and trivia to learn about fellow bandmates, influential bands and musical concepts Sectionals (lessons) by instrument to cover the fundamentals of playing music in a band setting Learning about various topics such as note values, song structure, improv, stagecraft, etc. Stage presence exercises Depending on the total number of kids, we will be splitting into "bands" of 6, and each group will learn between 3 to 5 songs in just a week, depending on how much they can handle as a band. At the end of the week, the kids will perform a live rock concert for their friends and family! DROP OFF FOR CAMP IS 9AM PICK UP IS PROMPTLY AT 3PM SHOW TIME ON FRIDAY IS AT 1:30PM STUDENTS MUST BRING THEIR OWN HEARING PROTECTION Rock N Roll gets LOUD and we want to make sure their ears are protected! Over-the-ear plug-in headphones or AirPods are NOT sufficient We have Isolation Headphones + single-use earplugs available for sale at the front desk PLEASE BE SURE TO SEND YOUR KIDS WITH A NUT-FREE LUNCH + THEIR OWN WATER BOTTLES (LABELED WITH THEIR NAME)! Food is not provided - please send your kids with a NUT-FREE lunch and snacks. Students may not leave the premises at ANY time. If any of your kids have food allergies, please let us know. DO I NEED TO BRING AN INSTRUMENT? Having your own instrument is NOT required to participate in camp. Guitarists and Bassists may bring their Guitar, picks + 1/4" cables. Drummers can bring their own drum sticks, NO kit! We have drum sticks available for purchase at the front desk. Keyboardists, DO NOT bring your keyboards! Lucky you!
