Love, Light and Longing brings audiences on a musical journey from Bach’s baroque world to early twentieth-century expressionism, exploring the very human themes of love and yearning that echo through the ages. Presented inside the Museum rotunda, the performance demonstrates how music can deepen our understanding of the permanent collection while embodying the vision of Museum as a Stage.
