It’s bedtime, but settling down isn’t always so easy! With a bright red balloon, three little bears, a cow jumping over the moon, and a whole room full of things to say goodnight to, this gentle and playful musical celebrates the magic of imagination and the comforting rituals of bedtime. Goodnight Moon: The Musical is a cozy, joyful production for all ages! It is a celebration of wonder and all the little things that make us feel at home. Roles Available 16+: Bunny – A central character with a playful, comedic presence. Old Lady Bunny – A warm and wonderfully silly character who helps bring the world of the play to life. Ensemble – A larger ensemble of performers who will inhabit the many characters and magical elements of the story. Ensemble members may play multiple roles, including the various animals, objects, and inhabitants of the Great Green Room. We are looking for performers who are playful, imaginative, comedic and comfortable working as an ensemble. You do not need to fit a particular “type” to audition, we are interested in seeing what you bring to the world of the show! Audition Requirements Please prepare: A 30-second comedic monologue 16-32 bars of a contemporary musical theater song, performed a cappella or with an instrumental track If you would like to use an instrumental track, you may either bring a file or provide a link to your accompaniment.
