About this event
"Building Games with Scratch" is a beginner-friendly workshop designed to introduce young learners to computer programming through Scratch, a visual block-based programming language developed by MIT. The workshop will provide students with an engaging and accessible introduction to coding concepts while encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and computational thinking. Participants will use Scratch’s guest mode to create their own games while learning fundamental programming concepts through the platform’s drag-and-drop interface. No prior coding experience is required. iPads will be provided to use, but you can bring your own device if you like. Ages: 8-12 Registration Recommended! ADA Accommodation Request
