This film is being viewed to coincide with 16 days of activism beginning with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women on November 25th and concluding with the International Human Rights Day on December 10th. Along with the #StandwithHer campaign, ROCO Films is promoting a powerful and important film about one father’s journey to address the sexual violence his daughter experienced. "To Kill a Tiger” is a cinematic David and Goliath story about Ranjit, a farmer in Jharkhand, who takes on the fight of his life when he demands justice for his 13-year-old daughter, the survivor of sexual assault. Nominated for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature and directed by Nisha Pahuja, this is a story of hope, resilience, and a father’s unwavering love.
