Buckle Up & BBQ is Kids and Car Safety's signature family-friendly fundraiser, taking place on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 12:00–3:00 PM at Eagle's Landing at Lake Olathe in Olathe, Kansas. This fun-filled afternoon brings together families, community partners, and supporters for delicious barbecue, live entertainment, a craft BBQ cook-off, silent auction, touch-a-truck experiences, bounce houses, face painting, and activities for all ages. Proceeds from the event support Kids and Car Safety's lifesaving mission to prevent child hot car deaths, backover incidents, and other preventable vehicle-related tragedies through education, advocacy, and public awareness.
