Brush with Nature Sunday, October 11 and 18 from 1-3:30 pm. Gather in community and get creative with watercolors inspired by the autumn colors around you! Naturalist-led instruction and introduction to watercolors offered on the hour. Take to the trails and get creative. All skill levels welcome! Some basic materials provided. Gather outside the Visitor Shelter. October 18th: Meet Presley Martin, a local artist, amateur mycologist, and Minnesota water steward, who creates art with objects found while exploring area forests and the Mississippi River. Presley will demonstrate his unique “mushroom markers”, and visitors can experience more of his work at the American Swedish Institute through October 25.
