Browns Point Playfield Work Party at South Park And Community Center on Friday, October 9, 2026.
2nd Friday of the Month | 9 am โ 12 pm at Browns Point Playfield Register online via MyImpact Restore the habitat at Browns Point Playfield by joining community volunteers to remove invasive species and prepare the site for fall planting. All ages and abilities welcome, no experience necessary. Tools and training will be provided. Gloves are required. Dress for the weather. Work party will take place rain or shine. What to Bring Bring a water bottle, snack and gardening gloves if you have them (weโll have spares). Where to Meet Please meet at the Browns Point Playfield park entrance on La Hal Da Ave NE (Get directions). Where to Park Free parking is available at the park entrance on La Hal Da Ave NE. Youth Participant Waiver If you are under 18 and attending the event without a parent or guardian, please come to the event with our Youth Participant Waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
