Bring Your Product Ideas to Life Using AI

This event will be hosted in the Reboot Room on the 2nd floor of the Mitchell Park Library.. Have you ever had an idea to make everyday life easier with a website, an app, or a digital tool, but didn't have the technical skills to build it yourself? Thanks to today's AI tools, you no longer need to be a coder to bring your ideas to life. You can focus on the vision while AI handles the technical details. Join presenter Viral Parekh as he walks through his own journey building mobile apps with AI, including the challenges he faced and the lessons he learned along the way. Viral is the creator of BANAVU Kids Activities Finder App, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, designed to help parents easily find activities for kids. This session includes a hands-on portion where attendees can start bringing their own ideas to life using AI tools in real time. Target Audience Adults (but open to anyone who can use a computer independently) Prerequisites No prior experience required! All you need to bring is: A laptop. If a personal laptop is not available, participants have the option to check out a loaner laptop or Chromebook at the front desk (availability is limited). Free accounts for AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Lovable. We recommend choosing a couple tools (since tokens are limited with free accounts) and downloading the tools before the event. About the Presenter Viral has spent over a decade working on software and hardware technologies at leading Silicon Valley companies, including Apple and Robinhood. During his career, he helped deliver world-class user experiences for products used by hundreds of millions of people every day, including Siri, AirDrop, Apple Pay, and stock trading platforms. A longtime Bay Area resident, Viral now focuses on growing his app and is passionate about giving back to the community by sharing his knowledge and experience.
