About this event

Join us for an engaging one-hour workshop to learn about Omaha Bridges and the programs and resources they offer to strengthen our community. Omaha Bridges provides a comprehensive framework for understanding the complex factors that contribute to and sustain poverty through a socioeconomic lens. During this session, participants will explore several Omaha Bridges models and concepts that highlight the impact of economic class on individuals, families, and communities. The workshop includes a hands-on activity that allows attendees to apply key concepts and deepen their understanding through interactive learning. This is a free event for adults 19+. This program does not require registration. All Omaha Public Library locations are wheelchair accessible. Need sign language interpretation or other accessibility assistance for this event? Please email Nancy Novotny at NNovotny@omahalibrary.org to request accommodation. Requests must be made at least five business days before the activity or event.
