Deep dive into feminist food studies for the release of Culinaria: Women of Color Rewriting our Food Stories. Panelists include Janaka Lewis, Ph.D., Professor of English, UNC Charlotte; Patricia Clark, Professor of English and Black Studies, SUNY Oswego; and Sucharita Kanjilal, Assistant Professor of Anthropology, Bard College. Editors Drs. Farha Ternikar and Janaka Bowman Lewis explore gender, race and the politics of the plate with contributors Patricia Clark and Sucharita Kanjilal. This event is free and open to the public and co-sponsored by Salt City Coffee and the McNeil Firehouse event committee.
