The Breakthrough T1D Walk is the largest type 1 diabetes (T1D) walk and leads the movement to transform life with T1D. Every year, hundreds of thousands of people across the country lace up and show up — walkers, families, friends, coworkers and community partners — all united by one goal: a future without T1D. When you join us, you become part of a community driving change for people living with T1D. Whether you’re walking in honor of your own diagnosis, a loved one, or simply because you believe progress is possible, your presence and support make a real difference. Together, we raise funds and awareness for T1D, fueling progress toward life-changing cures, better treatments and improved daily tools for managing this condition. Every dollar raised helps power research into cell therapies, disease-modifying therapies (DMT) and early detection — bringing us closer to a world where T1D no longer limits what’s possible. The Walk isn’t just a fundraiser.
