CHARITABLE EVENT TO BENEFIT DCR’S CONSERVATION TRUST & URBAN PARKS TRUST FUND ON SEPTEMBER 18.DCR invites fans to participate in its annual ‘Break’N the Ice’ skate-to-donate fundraiser at TD Garden on Saturday, September 18 from 5 PM-6:45 PM. Ticket holders will have access to the arena and be the very first to break-in the freshly laid ice for the 2026-27 season, as TD Garden hosts the first Boston Bruins pre-season game on September 20. The ‘Break ’N the Ice’ experience includes two 45-minute-long skate sessions and a tour of the Sports Museum. Ticketed guests will pick between two time slots when checking out.Time Slot 1: 5:00 PM Skate Session and 6:00 PM Sports Museum TourTime Slot 2: 5:00 PM Sports Museum Tour and 6:00 PM Skate Session. ‘Break ‘N The Ice’ is a charitable event that TD Garden hosts annually to support the DCR’s Conservation Trust & Urban Parks Trust Fund. Net proceeds from ticket sales for each event will benefit the MA Department of Conservation and Recreation Charitable Trust. Tickets for ‘Break ’N the Ice’ at TD Garden are on sale August 27. Tickets are $40 for skaters and $15 for spectators. Please note that spectator tickets include access to the arena; no spectator will be allowed on the ice. Participants are required to bring their own skates.
