About this event

Learn how to make your own monotype, a unique, one-of-a-kind print, using botanicals! Artist Diana Eicher will teach you how to ink up botanicals and plant materials, transfer plants to a plexiglass plate, paint with inks, and print designs using a printing press to make a one-color print to take home. Materials provided. This program is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. Diana Eicher is the Director of the Printmaking and Paper Studio at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. She is a visual artist working at the intersection of identity, lived experience and material processes. Specializing in printmaking and papermaking, her practice bridges solo studio work and collaborative environments. As a teaching artist, she loves working with students of all ages by sharing the joy of printmaking.
