A Vibrant Celebration of Music, Culture, and Authentic Food! Let's experience different cultures, food, music, and more! Come out and join the group for one of the city's biggest and most energetic summer festivals. Everyone should use the comment section below to coordinate times, mingle, and find others from the group to explore the festival together! 🗓️ FESTIVAL DATES: Friday, July 24 - Sunday, July 26, 2026 (I will be there Sunday) ⏰ FESTIVAL HOURS: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM (I will be there at 6pm-9pm; But I WILL be checking out the festivities so please be ontime) 📍 WHERE: Franklin Park Playstead 📍 EXACT MEETING SPOT: Since the Franklin Park Playstead is huge and gets packed, let's meet at The Franklin Park Zoo Main Entrance (Giraffe Entrance) which is a clear landmark! The zoo entrance sits directly adjacent to the Playstead area. Because it has prominent signage and a clear plaza, it is one of the easiest landmarks for people to spot when they first arrive from public transit. 🎟️ ADMISSION: COMPLETELY FREE! (Bring cash for food, drinks, and vendors!) 🥁 The Big Highlights: * The Multi-Day Festival: Immersed in the culture at the Playstead with international and local musical artists, carnival rides, and arts & crafts. * The Authentic Food Kiosks: Tons of vendors serving up traditional favorites like alcapurrias, empanadillas, mofongo, and more. * The Grand Parade (Sunday, July 26): Watch the streets come alive with colorful floats, antique vehicles, club cars, marching troupes, and massive energy!
