About this event
Meeting Room. In this hands-on workshop, learn the art of long-stitch binding, a traditional bookbinding technique. We practice sewing page signatures together using a variety of decorative stitch patterns to craft a sturdy journal of sketchbook. This workshop includes a short talk on the history of bookbinding and the anatomy of a well-made book. Presented by Mel Antuna Hewitt, owner & book artist at LibroBuch, LLC.
