Book Group: The Melting Plot

Please contact Savannah Green or Adele Chase at 803-929-3400 to pick up a book group copy. Each alternate-month session, we read Bonus Bites - short pieces of fiction or nonfiction, typically relevant to the last title read for book group. While you're free to read this month's Bonus Bites in advance, have no fear of homework! For Bonus Bites, we begin every session with fifteen minutes of silent reading. Bonus Bites are usually related thematically to one of our past book selections, but it's not mandatory to have read the books to join the discussion. Whether you’re a longtime member or just curious to drop in, these sessions offer a low-prep, high-reward way to sample new voices and ideas. And, as always, refreshments will be served!The Melting Plot meets the second Tuesday of every month from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
