About this event
Taken hostage by a failed bank robber, eight anxiety-prone strangers--including a redemption-seeking bank director, two couples who would fix their marriages, and a plucky octogenarian--discover their unexpected common traits. This novel by Fredrik Backman (2020) is part reflection on the failings of late-stage capitalism, and part meditation on what binds people together or makes them fall apart. Limited copies available. For adults. Registration required.
