About this event

Auditorium. New Jersey has a rich fossil record that spans almost 500 million years, from the Cambrian Period all the way up until the last Ice Age! Join Dr. Dana Ehret to learn about some of the history of paleontology, the plants and animals that have lived in what is now New Jersey and some of the amazing discoveries that have been made in our state. From Cope and Marsh's 'Bone Wars' to Hadrosaurus foulkii, the first dinosaur skeleton put on display, New Jersey has played an important role in the study of paleontology. This program is presented by Dr. Dana J. Ehret, Curator of Natural History for the New Jersey State Museum/War Memorial.
