Bluegrass & Olde Tyme Afternoon Jam at Polecat Tavern

Join us for our Bluegrass and Old Tyme Music Jam. Beginners are welcome. Starts at 3:30pm the second Thursday each month. Time for some bluegrass / old-time / Americana jamming! We’ll play from 3:30 – 5:30p, going around the circle calling tunes, person that calls walks through the chords of the song then leads the group in playing the song with breaks. We’ll aim to start at a beginner-intermediate level, progressing to more intermediate tunes as the afternoon progresses. No fee, but bring a few $$ for the tip jar and/or beer/wine/sodas available for purchase. After a short break, join in or enjoy the plugged-in Open Mic, starting at 6p.
