About this event

Please note, this is a paid event and costs $5 per person to attend. You can help us get started faster by paying in advance on Venmo @Witt-Yao (last four digits 2437). Come join us for Blood on the Clocktower! This is an event for both new and experienced players. Rules will be explained. The game length is variable, but can last 1 to 2 hours; please plan to stay for the entire length of a game. There will be two simultaneous games happening, one for beginners (if needed) and one for experienced players. * About the location: We will be using up to two private rooms of the Missing Piece; we rent these rooms at a low cost, so we charge a small fee for attending these events. (If the cost is a barrier, we do have regular free events at other locations.) Since we are guests and using the private rooms for a low cost, it's encouraged to purchase food, beverages, or games, although not required. Parking is limited, so plan to arrive a little early to find parking on neighboring streets. About the game: Blood on the Clocktower is a social deduction game of murder and mystery, lies and logic, deduction, and deception for up to 15 players, each with a unique character that is “good” or “evil”. Good players share information to solve the mystery whilst evil players lie about who they are and what they know. The good team wins if they execute the demon. The evil team wins if the demon can survive until the end. Community Guidelines: This Meetup's number one rule is to be nice. We are here to have fun, meet other people with similar interests, and lie/deceive our hearts out, as the game we play necessitates that. Negative social tools, such as shouting, bullying, or emotional manipulation are discouraged. We require all attendees to maintain a safe and respectful environment and treat each other with kindness or be asked to leave. If you are ever uncomfortable at an event, please let an organizer know. Notes:* If…
