About this event
Celebrate 10 years of BlakTinx Dance Festival with Curtain Call, a two-night celebration of dance, culture and community at Third Street Theater in downtown Phoenix. Presented by Latina Dance Project, BlakTinx centers Black and Latinx choreographers and has spent the past decade creating space for artists to share bold contemporary dance works and stories through movement. For its 10th anniversary, BlakTinx brings together a dynamic lineup of choreographers and performers from Phoenix and beyond. Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3 feature two completely different programs, giving audiences a new experience each night. Taking place during Hispanic Heritage Month, Curtain Call celebrates the artists, audiences and community that have shaped BlakTinx over the last decade. This milestone is a special opportunity to celebrate 10 years of dance and the legacy BlakTinx has built in Phoenix. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and performances begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 per night or $35 for a limited weekend pass.
