Learn the basics of blacksmithing and make cool S hooks in this hands-on, in-person workshop! Join us for a fun and hands-on intro to blacksmithing! In this beginner-friendly class, you'll learn how to craft durable S hooks - perfect for hanging stuff or adding a cool, rustic touch to your space. You’ll learn some the basic mechanics when it comes to forging metal. We’ll be forging out S hooks, one of the more beginner projects that blacksmiths learn to make. We’ll go over all the basic terminology and movements that come with forging out a S hook. The S hook skills transfer into more advanced projects into blacksmithing. Students will all leave with a S hook they can take home with them. Age 16+ (Under 18 MUST be accompanied by a guardian) Please wear cotton or non synthetic clothes that you don't mind getting very dirty, full-length pants, and close-toed shoes. Learn more/Register
