Prost! Blackbird Brewery’s 4th Annual Oktoberfest is back, and we’re transforming the brewery into our own little slice of Germany in Wake Forest for one of our biggest celebrations of the year. We’ve always had a love for traditional German beer styles, and Oktoberfest is our chance to go all in. Expect special German beer releases filling the taps, a lively beer-hall atmosphere, staff dressed for the occasion, stein-hoisting competitions, Stick & Poke beers, and plenty of Oktoberfest traditions mixed with the kind of fun you can only find at Blackbird. Come dressed for the occasion, grab a stein, and settle in for a full day of beer, food, music, and celebration. LIVE MUSIC We’re filling the brewery with live music from the moment the doors open through the final hours of the party. Tom Neuhauser | 12pm–2pm We’re starting Oktoberfest the traditional way with live accordion music from Tom Neuhauser. He’ll bring an unmistakably German soundtrack to the taproom and set the beer-hall mood for the afternoon. Jimmy Deve | 3pm–6pm Jimmy Deve takes over with an acoustic set fueled by his infectious personality, crowd-friendly favorites, and knack for turning any performance into a party. Adam Lee Decker Band | 7pm–10pm Then we’re turning up the volume. Local favorite Adam Lee Decker and the Adam Lee Decker Band will close out the evening with a high-energy full-band performance to keep Oktoberfest rolling well into the night.
