Birding in Prospect Park

Please join us for a fun walk in Prospect Park to spot local and migratory birds. We will learn Winter survival strategies of the birds we see. We will be walking outside so wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. Rain or shine so be prepared. If you RSVP we will send an email reminder the day before the event. We meet in the Lobby near the Checkout Desk about 9:50 and depart sharply at 10:00 am. Feel free to bring your own binoculars or borrow ours. We will have 10 birding kits, including binoculars, available for participants' use, courtesy of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. The next nature walk after this will be on December 16. Please see details here: https://bklynlib.org/winter-tree In Partnership with the NYC Parks Department, Urban Park Rangers.
